President Silanyo attends Graduation ceremony

President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud Silanyo who was in official tour of the eastern part of the country spent his night on Tuesday 18th February at the newly constructed Regional presidential palace.

The following morning the Head of State initiated his itinerary by official opening the doors to the regional presidential palace where he would receive visitors when he is in the town before proceeding while a large crowd of people & motorists were accompanying him to the regional water agency where he unveiled a newly constructed water hole with 5 pumping machines supplying the essential commodity to a large population of the town.

Thereafter the presidential entourage in fulfillment of its tight itinerary proceeded straight to University of Burao where the president presided over a graduation ceremony in which he bestowed Degrees & Diplomas to graduates in various disciplines. President Silanyo entered the books of history by becoming the first Head of State to pose for snap shots with jovial students in group photos before opening new ICT library complex within the University that was financially constructed with the aid of Telecom Company then moving few distance further to unveil a new guest house that is to house visitors
